Enjoy this unique dish with a warm Asian-style salad with wilted cabbage, shredded carrots, and matchsticks of crisp, crunchy Asian pear, which complement the rich nuttiness of the pork chops. Adding sesame seeds to a traditional egg, flour, and panko breading not only contributes a great nutty flavor but also makes these pan-fried pork chops extra crispy. We use Asian pear in this recipe for its bright crispiness, but if you try this on your own, Bosc or Anjou pears will also work.

Enjoy, Dane County!
Dietitian Juli says, "Pork is rich in vitamin B3, also called niacin."
